Gothic Legends Returns and Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping at Gothic Legends. We are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. This policy complies with UK consumer protection laws and sets out your rights when shopping with us.

1. Returns


1.1 Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order. We will provide instructions for returning the item at no cost to you. Once we receive and inspect the item, if it is found to be faulty, we will offer you a choice of:

  • A replacement at no extra cost.
  • A full refund, including any delivery charges and reasonable return postage costs.

This right does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to a remedy if goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.

 

1.2 Change of Mind

If you decide to cancel or return an order for reasons other than damage or defect, you have the right to do so under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided:

  • You notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • The items are returned unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.


Please note:

  • You are responsible for the return postage costs unless we agree otherwise.
  • Refunds for cancelled orders will include the standard delivery charge but exclude any additional delivery services selected at checkout.

 

1.3 Exclusions

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • T-shirts and hoodies printed by Gothic Legends, as these are made-to-order and classified as customised products. Customised items are exempt from the right to cancel under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Personalised or custom items.
  • Earrings and other pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons.

 

This does not affect your right to a remedy if these items are damaged, defective, or not as described.

 

2. Refunds


2.1 Approved Returns

Once your return has been approved and processed, we will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or evidence of its return. Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

2.2 Refundable Costs

  • For faulty or misdescribed items, we will refund the cost of the item, original delivery charges, and reasonable return postage costs.
  • For change-of-mind returns, we will refund the cost of the item and standard delivery charges but exclude return postage costs.

 

3. Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

  • A repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose within 30 days of receipt.
  • Remedies for faults that develop within six months, provided the fault was present at the time of delivery.


You also have the right to cancel orders under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to exclusions outlined in this policy.
